Fernando Santos: 'Euro 2004 gives Greece inspiration'

Fernando Santos reminds his Greece players that "anything can happen" in 90 minutes.

Greece boss Fernando Santos has reminded his players that "anything can happen" in 90 minutes, ahead of their match against Germany at Euro 2012.

Santos, who acknowledges his side's underdog status, admits that his men have drawn inspiration from the Greek team that won it all in 2004 and will be determined to go as far as possible.

"For us the inspiration is the 2004 saga," he said.

"We would like to use this as a source of inspiration and do the same, or at least come as close as we can.

"Let us not forget, anything can happen in 90 minutes."

Greece take on Germany in Gdansk tonight.
