Nikica Jelavic has completed his move from Everton to Hull City for an undisclosed fee.
The 28-year-old Croatian forward has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract at the KC Stadium.
"As soon as the manager (Steve Bruce) called me, I realised straight away that he was really interested in signing me and that it is a great opportunity for me to come here," Jelavic told the club website.
"It is a good club, and we have a good squad. We talked a little bit, but it didn't take long to realise that it was right for me."
Jelavic was initially successful with Everton following a 2012 move from Rangers but has had to watch Romelu Lukaku take up the lead striking role for the Toffees this season. In total, he scored 21 goals in 69 appearances for Everton.
Hull's next game is a trip to Norwich City on Saturday and Jelavic could make his debut at Carrow Road.
