Inter Milan defenders Andrea Ranocchia and Cristian Chivu have both been named in the squad for tonight's derby against AC Milan, despite struggling with injuries.

Inter Milan defenders Andrea Ranocchia and Cristian Chivu could be fit to start against AC Milan in tonight's derby after being named in the squad.

Both have picked up injuries in recent weeks, although Andrea Stramaccioni has opted to choose both players after late fitness tests.

It was thought that Ranocchia would miss this evening's clash after spraining his knee in the midweek 3-0 win over Cluj in the Europa League.

Chivu is also carrying a knock, but it now seems that there is a chance both could feature at the San Siro.

Should neither be available to start the game, it is understood that Esteban Cambiasso will fill in at the back, having already played in the role this season.
