The Chilean international, who scored a hat-trick in Juve's Champions League triumph over FC Copenhagen last week, opened the scoring on 13 minutes at the Stadio Renato Dall'Ara.
He smashed the ball in from close range after Federico Peluso had collected Bologna keeper Gianluca Curci's parry of Claudio Marchisio's shot, and squared for Vidal to net his fourth goal in three matches.
Before scoring, the Old Lady had already threatened through Mauricio Isla and Fabio Quagliarella, who came close later in the half with a 15-yard deflected strike that looped just wide of the near post.
The hosts, winless in their last four league matches, had their own chances going forward as Alessandro Diamanti forced Gianluigi Buffon to save his curling free kick.
