Antonio Conte pleased with defensive record

Juventus manager Antonio Conte says that he is relieved his side is beginning to keep clean sheets.

Juventus manager Antonio Conte has admitted that he is relieved his team managed to keep a clean sheet during their 4-0 win over Catania in Turin.

The 44-year-old, who has been looking to strengthen his side's defence, was pleased to see them avoid conceding for the second match running.

"This was our fourth game in 10 days and we've got another three testing encounters ahead of us," he told the club's website. "We needed to start keeping clean sheets and have managed to do so in our previous two games.

"Now we'll think about one game at a time. Parma is a tough venue, somewhere where AC Milan have recently been defeated. We'll begin to focus on Real from Sunday onwards."

The result leaves Juventus in third place in Serie A, two points behind leaders Roma, who have a game in hand.
