Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has insisted that club captain Wes Morgan is not for sale.
The 29-year-old defender has been linked with a move back to former club Nottingham Forest.
However, Pearson has refused to confirm that any bids have been made for the player.
He told BBC Radio Leicester: "Wes is not a player I have any intention of selling so it doesn't matter whether there has been a bid or not.
"There may have been but it doesn't matter; it will have been turned down."
Morgan was with Forest for 10 years before joining Leicester in 2012.
