Leicester City have reportedly offered striker Jamie Vardy a long-term contract extension.
The 27-year-old, who joined the club from Fleetwood Town in 2012, scored 12 goals last season to help the Foxes gain promotion to the Premier League.
However, his exploits up front are understood to have alerted a number of other top-flight teams ahead of the new campaign.
Leicester are now keen to secure his services for the future with an improved deal at the King Power Stadium, according to Sky Sports News.
Nigel Pearson's side start the new season at home to Everton on August 16.
