Liverpool chairman Tom Werner has revealed his delight after the Reds booked their spot in the 2018 Champions League final with a 7-6 aggregate victory over Roma.
Jurgen Klopp's side lost 4-2 at Roma in the second leg of their semi-final on Wednesday night, but a 5-2 success in the first leg at Anfield ensured that they would join Real Madrid in the European Cup final.
Liverpool have made the final of the famous competition for the first time in 11 years, and Werner has lavished praise on the team.
"It was thrilling to beat Roma and our play in the Champions League was such that we truly deserve to be going to Kiev," Werner told reporters. "What a joy to experience this moment with our away supporters."
The Reds will return to Premier League action with a trip to Chelsea this weekend.
