Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Norwich City

Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with bottom-of-the-table Norwich City.

Liverpool return from their mid-season break on Saturday with a trip to Norwich City which pits top of the Premier League against bottom.

A whopping 55 points separate the two sides heading into the match and, after Manchester City's game against West Ham United was postponed due to adverse weather conditions, a 25th victory from 26 league games this season would see Liverpool extend their lead at the top of the table to 25 points.

With a 19th league title looking like a formality now, Jurgen Klopp may even let one eye drift to the first leg of their Champions League tie with Atletico Madrid which follows on Tuesday night.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news for Liverpool following the winter break.

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: February 15 (vs. Norwich City)

Sadio Mane is now back in training for Liverpool after missing the last two league games with a slight hamstring tear, and he will be available for the trip to Norwich.

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: February 24 (vs. West Ham United)

Xherdan Shaqiri has also been using the mid-season break to recover from his latest injury, but the trip to Carrow Road will come too soon for the Switzerland international.

James Milner

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: February 15 (vs. Norwich City)

James Milner stayed behind during the mid-season break to watch the Under-23s against Shrewsbury Town and aid his own rehabilitation, and the veteran is now back in training with the first team ahead of a possible return this weekend.

Nathaniel Clyne

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Liverpool were unable to offload Nathaniel Clyne on loan during the January transfer window and the full-back is still a long-term absentee for Klopp's side having suffered knee ligament damage in pre-season.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no players suspended for this match.
