Liverpool's Emre Can has received his first call-up to the senior Germany squad after being included by Joachim Low for the upcoming Euro 2016 qualifying matches against Poland and Scotland.
Can, who has been capped by Germany's Under-21 side, has featured in all three of Liverpool's league matches this season, while playing 33 times in all competitions during the 2014-15 season.
"Emre had a good development at Liverpool and is a versatile player. We like his presence on the pitch and his dynamism," Low said in a statement. "Now we want to get to know him a bit better."
Arsenal's Mesut Ozil and new Manchester United signing Bastian Schweinsteiger have also been included.
