The agent of Marco Asensio has ruled out a move away from Real Madrid for the Spanish midfielder, amid ongoing links with a switch to Liverpool.
Asensio scored seven goals and assisted seven more in 44 La Liga and Champions League appearances for Los Blancos last season, while also featuring in three of Spain's four World Cup matches this summer.
Despite being used heavily under Zinedine Zidane last term, the 22-year-old started fewer than half of his side's matches and was said to be seeking a route out of the Bernabeu.
In the wake of reports touting Asensio as a £150m target for Liverpool, though, agent Horacio Gaggioli has stressed that the former Mallorca ace is in the Spanish capital to stay.
"Marco won't move, he'll stay with Real Madrid," he told Calciomercato."He's improving all the time. Next season I think he'll be very important in Madrid."
Asensio, under contract with Madrid until 2023, would not personally comment on the speculation during Spain's World Cup campaign.
