Liverpool are reportedly planning a mid-season move for Spartak Moscow's Dutch winger Quincy Promes.
The 24-year-old, who has a price tag of £25m, has an impressive tally of 36 goals in 71 appearances for the Russian Premier League side since his arrival from FC Twente in 2014.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Promes is one of the names under consideration by Reds manager Jurgen Klopp as he looks for reinforcements following the news that Danny Ings will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury.
Spartak are thought to be reluctant to sell Promes, however, having only tied him down to a new five-year deal in August.
Liverpool are understood to be keen on taking him on an initial loan in January, but the Russian side will only sanction a temporary move if it is made permanent in the summer.
Promes has scored five times in nine appearances so far this season to help his side move top of the league.
