Valencia are reportedly preparing to submit an official loan move for Liverpool forward Iago Aspas.
The Spaniard moved to the Reds in the summer after impressing in La Liga for Celta Vigo last season, where he scored 12 times in 34 games.
However, the 26-year-old has failed to score in the Premier League this campaign with his first-team opportunities limited due to the form of Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge.
According to Superdeporte.es, Valencia boss Juan Antonio Pizzi has identified the forward as the player to improve his attack for the remainder of the season.
It is believed that Aspas is keen on a move away from Anfield.
