Liverpool striker Luis Suarez bans questions surrounding his future while on international duty with Uruguay in Japan this week.

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has issued a blanket ban on questions surrounding his future while on international duty.

Suarez joined his Uruguay teammates in Japan yesterday, ahead of a friendly at the Miyagi Stadium on Wednesday.

The forward was vocal in his desire to swap the Reds for Arsenal last week, but has told the Uruguay FA that he will refuse to talk about anything other than the national side this week, according to the Daily Mail.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has urged Suarez to apologise for his public declaration of intent, but the club's top scorer last season remains steadfast in his desire to leave Anfield this summer.

Liverpool will get the 2013-14 Premier League campaign underway without Suarez this weekend, with the striker suspended for Saturday's opener against Stoke City.
