Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini could start Carlos Tevez in Sunday's crunch Premier League tie against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
The Argentine striker has not started a game for City in six months following his row with Mancini over his alleged refusal to come off the bench against Bayern Munich last year.
However, the 28-year-old has been named as a substitute for the Blues' last three matches.
Despite the expected return of Sergio Aguero from injury, Tevez could be named in the starting lineup this weekend, according to The Mirror.
A win for City could temporarily move them to within two points of league leaders Manchester United.
