Manchester City's David Silva open to returning to Valencia in the future

David Silva insists that he is happy at Manchester City, but is open to returning to Valencia in the future.

Manchester City playmaker David Silva has revealed that he would not close the door on a possible return to Valencia one day.

The 29-year-old has won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and League Cup trophy with the North-West outfit since joining the club in 2010.

Prior to that, Silva spent six years in the senior Valencia team, and while the Spaniard is happy at City, the midfielder is open to a return.

"I feel very good at City, the fans treat me very well there," Silva told Radio Marca. "I am not thinking about [returning to La Liga] at the moment.

"If I had to return to Valencia, I would not rule that out. Also, I would like to play for Las Palmas and end my career there."

City are currently six points behind league leaders Chelsea in the table.
