Sporting Lisbon want to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart this summer, according to a report.

Sporting Lisbon are reportedly interested in signing Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart this summer.

Hart struggled to make his mark during a loan spell at West Ham United last season, which led to the 31-year-old being left out of the England squad for the 2018 World Cup.

As it stands, the stopper will return to City for pre-season training in July, but according to Record, Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon want to sign him ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.

Portugal's number one goalkeeper Rui Patricio currently has the gloves at Sporting Lisbon, but it is understood that the Portuguese club's head coach Jorge Jesus is looking to shake things up this summer.

Hart has also been linked with a shock move to Manchester United as back-up to David de Gea.
