Manchester United's James Wilson suffers dead leg

A dead leg could keep James Wilson out of Manchester United's upcoming Premier League encounter against Sunderland.

James Wilson picked up a dead leg during his outing for Manchester United's Under-21 side last night.

The striker, who has made 16 senior appearances this term, lasted just 39 minutes at Sunderland's Stadium of Light before the problem forced him to be substituted.

While the injury is not expected to keep the 19-year-old sidelined for too long, he is now considered a doubt for Saturday's clash against the Black Cats at Old Trafford.

As a result, loanee forward Radamel Falcao is likely to partner captain Wayne Rooney in attack, with Robin van Persie ruled out by an ankle complaint.
