Sergio Aguero admits that Manchester City's Premier League title challenge is looking "a bit grim".

Sergio Aguero has admitted that the situation surrounding Manchester City's title challenge is looking "grim".

City were beaten 3-1 by Southampton on Saturday, and Aguero took to Twitter to give his verdict on his side's faltering bid to retain the Premier League.

"It all looks a bit grim right now," wrote Aguero.

"Some days nothing works the way it should, but I won't believe giving up is an option."

Roberto Mancini's side currently trail league leaders Manchester United by nine points with Sir Alex
Ferguson's team having a game in hand against Everton today.
