Dalglish: Suarez can handle the attention

Kenny Dalglish insists that Luis Suarez can handle the media attention ahead of Liverpool's trip to Old Trafford.

Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish has said that striker Luis Suarez should have no problem handling the media attention ahead of today's trip to Old Trafford.

Suarez, who will face off with Manchester United and Patrice Evra for the first time since their infamous October meeting this afternoon, has spent less than a half on the pitch since returning from his eight-game suspension this month.

However, the Scot insists that his star striker will be able to handle the attention.

"I'd have thought being as successful as he was for Uruguay in the summer, when they won the Copa America, it won't be the first time he's had cameras in his face," Dalglish said.

"He's a top-class player and understands what top-class players are up against, how newsworthy they are. I'm sure he will be able to handle it. I don't see why he should be under any more scrutiny."

The Reds could move as high as fifth place in the league with a win over United this afternoon.
