Forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said that he 'misses Manchester United and Jose Mourinho' in a video posted on the club's official Twitter page on United's awards evening.

Earlier in 2018, Ibrahimovic left Old Trafford after a 20-month spell in the North-West of England to make the switch to the MLS with Los Angeles Galaxy.

Ibrahimovic scored 29 goals in 53 games for United in all competitions, and the legendary Swede has acknowledged that he enjoyed his time with the Premier League giants.

The 36-year-old said: "I see you are doing well. You made it to the [FA Cup] final, which I like a lot even if I am not there. Here, everything is okay. I enjoy the sun every day.

"I want to say to all the fans: 'I miss you, I miss playing at Old Trafford and seeing all the red shirts'. I have great memories from there. I want to thank everybody for the push, adrenaline and energy you gave me. I want to thank my teammates also because you have been fantastic and you made it easy for me.

"Coach (Jose Mourinho), I miss you also. You know what you need to do to win. There is no secret behind that."

Ibrahimovic has scored three times in five appearances since moving to LA Galaxy.
