Manchester United's David Moyes: 'Wilfried Zaha showing promise'

Manchester United manager David Moyes believes that Wilfried Zaha is showing promise at the club.

David Moyes has described Wilfried Zaha as one of Manchester United's "most promising players".

The striker joined the Premier League champions earlier this year from Crystal Palace, who visit Old Trafford tomorrow lunchtime.

The manager told the club's official website: "We've been pleased with Wilfried. He's been quite bright over the few days since he's been back. He got a couple of games for the England Under-21s and is one of the most promising players on the way up.

"The fact that it's his old club in this game won't change my views in any way but he's someone who we hope he can continue to develop and, when we think he's ready, we'll get him towards the team.

"I've been pleased with a lot of aspects as to how we've played. I would have liked more points and more goals but I think an awful lot of our football has been very good. I'm hoping for that part of it to continue."

Unites sit seventh in the Premier League table ahead of tomorrow's match.
