Wayne Rooney can't wait to help Manchester United get back to winning ways against QPR at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney has revealed that this weekend's match against Queens Park Rangers can't come quickly enough following his side's recent defeats.

United were beaten by Norwich City in the Premier League last weekend before they went down in Turkey to Galatasaray in the Champions League.

"Obviously last week was a massive disappointment for us," said Rooney. "This QPR game couldn't have come quickly enough. We're looking to get back out there in the league and try and get the three points."

The England international has been passed fit for the match at Old Trafford after sitting out the last two games with tonsillitis.
