Ashley Young: 'Manchester United should have beaten Arsenal'

Ashley Young believes that Manchester United deserved more than a 1-1 draw against Arsenal.

Ashley Young has claimed that Manchester United should have beaten Arsenal following their 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have already qualified for next season's Champions League, but their bid for a third-placed finish suffered a blow at Old Trafford on Sunday as they were forced to share the spoils with the Gunners.

Ander Herrera found the net in the first half to put the hosts in front before a Tyler Blackett own goal drew Arsenal level with eight minutes left.

"We should have taken all three points," Young told MUTV. "We were disappointed to let them back in the game, but we played well. We wanted to bring the Champions League nights back to Old Trafford. We'll be back next season and aim to win the league."

United wrap up their Premier League campaign on May 24 when they face Hull City at the KC Stadium.
