Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga reportedly regards a move to Real Madrid as his preference this summer, despite interest from a host of Europe's other top clubs.

Rennes starlet Eduardo Camavinga has reportedly set his sights on a move to Real Madrid amid interest from a host of Europe's top clubs.

The 17-year-old has emerged as one of the most in-demand youngsters in world football during a breakthrough campaign which has seen him make 36 appearances in all competitions.

Real Madrid are understood to have identified Camavinga as an ideal long-term replacement for Casemiro and are ready to make their move for the midfielder when the transfer window reopens.

The likes of Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Manchester United and Manchester City have all been linked with the teenager too, but Marca reports that the player himself favours a switch to the Bernabeu.

Camavinga is said to be impressed with how Madrid have developed some of the world's brightest young talents in recent years and is excited about the prospect of joining the 13-time European champions.

The report also claims that Madrid are better placed than a number of their rivals to make big moves in the transfer market regardless of the impact of coronavirus.
