West Ham United are reportedly focusing on a deal for Manchester United's Aaron Wan-Bissaka after being forced to drop their pursuit of Bayern Munich defender Noussair Mazraoui.
The Hammers allegedly came to an agreement with Bayern over a move for Mazraoui, with the capital outfit agreeing to pay €15.5m (£13.1m) plus a further €4m (£3.4m) in add-ons for the defender.
However, it was reported on Friday afternoon that the move had collapsed, with the Morocco international deciding against a switch to the London Stadium.
West Ham had initially been linked with Wan-Bissaka to solve their right-back issue, and according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, a move for the Englishman is now back on the table.
Plettenberg claims that fresh talks with Man United are due to take place over the next 48 hours, with Erik ten Hag's side agreeing to lower their demands for the former Crystal Palace youngster.

West Ham 'back in for Wan-Bissaka'
The Red Devils are said to be willing to accept a fee of around £15m for Wan-Bissaka, who is currently with the squad in the United States on their pre-season tour.
Wan-Bissaka is currently the only senior right-back available for selection, as Diogo Dalot is on an extended break following his involvement for Portugal at Euro 2024.
The defender is out of contract at Old Trafford next summer, and he could potentially become the next player to leave the 20-time English champions.
Wan-Bissaka made the move to Man United from Palace in 2019 and has represented the club on 190 occasions.
The full-back featured on 30 occasions in all competitions last term, as he benefitted from the team's defensive injury problems.

Wan-Bissaka sale could allow Man United to sign Mazraoui
Man United are now said to be at the head of the queue for Mazraoui, but the club's move for the Moroccan hinges on whether they can find a buyer for Wan-Bissaka.
West Ham could ironically now help the Red Devils sign the player that they had wanted, as a switch for Wan-Bissaka would open up space for Ten Hag's side to move for the ex-Ajax defender.
Mazraoui made 29 appearances for Bayern last season and has represented the club on 55 occasions since arriving from Ajax in the summer of 2022.
However, Vincent Kompany's side are prepared to let him leave during the summer market.
As it stands, Wan-Bissaka is set to be in the Man United squad for Saturday night's pre-season clash with Arsenal, but the situation could change in the coming hours.
