Manchester United are yet to decide whether to offer Odion Ighalo a long-term deal as they are weighing up other options, according to a report.

Manchester United have reportedly not yet decided whether to offer Odion Ighalo a long-term deal at Old Trafford as they are currently weighing up other options on the market.

The Red Devils signed Ighalo on loan from Shanghai Shenhua in the final hours of the January transfer window, and the Nigerian has scored four times in eight appearances during a strong start to his United career.

Ighalo recently revealed that the 20-time English champions had not yet offered him an extended deal.

According to the Evening Standard, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are currently weighing up a potential move for Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland, while Lyon's Moussa Dembele, RB Leipzig's Timo Werner and Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane are also under consideration.

The report claims that Ighalo could yet make a permanent switch to Old Trafford for a figure in the region of £15m, although the Red Devils are first working on other targets.

Marcus Rashford's back injury led United into the winter market for a new forward, although the club did not officially replace the outgoing Romelu Lukaku ahead of the 2019-20 campaign.
