Manchester United are reportedly yet to make a firm move for Atletico Madrid's Saul Niguez despite the widespread speculation surrounding the central midfielder.
The Spaniard is free to leave Wanda Metropolitano for the right price this summer, and Man United, Barcelona and Liverpool continue to be credited with an interest in his services.
A recent report claimed that Saul's agents were preparing to travel to the UK in order to finalise a switch to the Red Devils, who had seemingly emerged as the favourites for his signature.
However, according to AS, sources close to the 26-year-old have denied that his representatives have made the trip to England to hold talks with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.
The report also claims that the 20-time English champions are yet to 'take a firm step' towards a deal for Saul, with his future still up in the air.
Barcelona had allegedly stepped back from a possible swap deal involving Antoine Griezmann, but the Catalan giants are still thought to be keeping a close eye on the developments surrounding the Spaniard.
