Saul Niguez reportedly has an agreement with Atletico Madrid allowing him to leave this summer if the La Liga champions receive a suitable offer for his services.
The 26-year-old made 41 appearances for Atletico during the 2020-21 campaign but is thought to be pushing for a move away from Wanda Metropolitano in the current market.
Saul had been linked with a switch to Barcelona as part of a swap deal for Antoine Griezmann, but it is thought that the Catalan giants have now cooled their interest.
Manchester United and Liverpool, though, continue to be linked with the midfielder, who still has five years left to run on his contract with the Spanish champions.
According to Marca, there is a gentleman's agreement between Saul and the capital outfit that the Spaniard will be allowed to leave if a suitable bid is received.
Atletico boss Diego Simeone recently admitted that the versatile midfielder could move on during this summer's transfer window.
