Paul Pogba: 'Dele Alli is worth more than £100m'

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba claims that Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli would now command a transfer fee of over £100m.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has heaped praised on Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli, who he says is worth more than £100m.

In 2016, Pogba left Juventus to secure a return to United in a deal worth more than £94m - a world record transfer fee at the time - but that has since been surpassed by Neymar's £200m switch to Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona.

Alli has previously been linked with a big-money transfer to either United or Real Madrid, and Pogba has claimed that the England international is already worth nine figures.

The 24-year-old told the London Evening Standard: "I think he is worth even more than £100m because you see how he plays — he is very talented but still very young, but he is mature as well — you can see that in his football.

"He can deal with the talk. You can see he doesn't care. He should, and will, focus on his football, and the rest, they will always speak. Always focus on the field."

Alli has endured a mixed campaign with Spurs, but head coach Mauricio Pochettino recently insisted that he was happy with the form of the 21-year-old.
