Report: Manchester United join Luciano Vietto race

A report claims that Manchester United are now in the race to sign Villarreal forward Luciano Vietto.

Manchester United have reportedly joined the race to sign Villarreal's in-demand forward Luciano Vietto.

The 21-year-old, who has also been linked with Barcelona, Real Madrid and Liverpool, has hit 19 goals for Villarreal this season after completing a move from Racing Club last summer.

While the Yellow Submarine are desperate to keep the youngster, Vietto's agent Jorge Cysterpiller has recently admitted that his client could move on this summer.

According to the Daily Star, United sent scouts to watch the Argentine in action against Celta Vigo on Sunday – a match where the forward scored his 12th league goal of the season.

Vietto's release clause is believed to stand in the region of £30m.
