Manchester United manager David Moyes is reportedly eyeing a swoop for Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has identified Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric as his primary transfer target this summer, according to a report.

Moyes has already made enquiries with the Spanish club about the Croatia international's availability this summer.

The Scot is hopeful of landing the former Tottenham Hotspur man for a fee in the region of £24m before Chelsea, who are also interested in the 27-year-old can swoop, according to The People.

Modric has struggled for playing time this season at Madrid as Xabi Alonso has often been preferred to him in midfield.
