Marcelo Bielsa: 'I'm satisfied with Marseille squad'

Marcelo Bielsa says he is happy with his Marseille squad for the 2015-16 Ligue 1 campaign.

Marseille coach Marcelo Bielsa has suggested that he is satisfied with the new additions to his squad.

OM have brought in several new faces, including Karim Rekik, Bouna Sarr, Lassana Diarra and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou.

However, despite the wave of signings, Bielsa has insisted that he was heavily involved in the recruitment process and that he will be staying at the Stade Velodrome.

He is quoted by Ligue 1.com as saying: "I'm satisfied with the squad. All decisions about incoming players were taken by me along with the club president.

"No choices were imposed by the president, or by me. The players came in by common accord. Diarra and [Abou] Diaby were initiatives taken by the president and I gave those choices my agreement.

"The terms of the contract have been agreed between me and the president, even if the document has not yet been signed."

Marseille finished fourth in Ligue 1 last season and were pipped to the final Champions League place by Monaco.
