Preview: Middlesbrough vs. Sheffield Wednesday

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Championship clash between Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday.

Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to register their first win of the Championship season when they take on Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

Dave Jones's side are currently 20th in the league table, having picked up just two points from four matches.

Middlesbrough are also struggling for points, having drawn their last two games. However, Tony Mowbray's side are unbeaten in three league fixtures and have collected five points.

The hosts could be without Frazer Richardson as the defender is suffering from a groin muscle problem. Other than that, Middlesbrough have no injury concerns.

Meanwhile, Wednesday will have Jermaine Johnson back from suspension for Saturday's clash, although right-back Lewis Buxton faces a late fitness test after picking up a hamstring strain.
