Karl Robinson: 'MK Dons lucky to beat Sheffield United'

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson admits that his team were lucky to beat Sheffield United in League One.

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson has admitted that his team did not deserve their 1-0 win over Sheffield United in League One on Tuesday.

The Dons earned their fourth victory in six games last night as Dele Alli's 87th-minute goal made the difference at Bramall Lane.

However, Robinson believes that his side were lucky to come away with the points against their fellow promotion hopefuls.

"We didn't deserve to win. I've got to be honest and say that we weren't great," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"They're a very good side and we had to do one or two things at the end of the game. We rolled our sleeves up and we fight. I'm not ever going to apologise for my team fighting and putting their bodies on the line."

The Dons are next in action on Saturday when they host Chesterfield in the second round of the FA Cup.
