Yohan Cabaye warns Anzhi Makhachkala that Newcastle United will be hungry for goals in the Europa League second leg this week.

Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye has insisted that he and his teammates will be on the front foot for the second leg against Anzhi Makhachkala in the Europa League.

The Magpies can reach the quarter-finals if they secure a victory over the Russian outfit this Thursday at St James' Park following their goalless draw in the first leg in Moscow last week.

"We wanted to stay nice and solid in Moscow," Cabaye told The Chronicle. "We had to defend well as a unit. Now the game is different, it is our turn to go forward.

"We wanted to score a goal, but unfortunately Hatem [Ben Arfa] missed the big chance. For the second leg, we know we must score goals. I think we will score goals, we have players who can score in this game."

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will also be in action in the second-tiered European competition on Thursday.
