Team News: No Timm Klose for Norwich City in crucial relegation clash against Sunderland

Norwich City are without defender Timm Klose for this afternoon's pivotal Premier League match against Sunderland at Carrow Road.

Norwich City will be without defender Timm Klose for this afternoon's pivotal Premier League match against Sunderland at Carrow Road.

The 27-year-old suffered a knee injury in last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace and has been replaced by Sebastian Bassong this afternoon.

That is the only change made to the starting XI by manager Alex Neil, who remains without Russell Martin, while there is no place in the squad for Patrick Bamford.

As for Sunderland, manager Sam Allardyce has named an unchanged side from last weekend's 2-0 defeat to potential champions Leicester City.

Duncan Watmore has returned to the squad, though, as he continues his recovery from ankle ligament damage, which he suffered in early February.

Norwich City: Ruddy; Wisdom, Bennett, Bassong, Olsson; Jarvis, Howson, O'Neil, Brady; Naismith; Mbokani
Subs: Rudd, Jerome, Hoolahan, Dorrans, Mulumbu, Redmond, Pinto

Sunderland: Mannone; Yedlin, Van Aanholt, Kaboul, Kone; Kirchhoff, M'Vila, Cattermole; Borini, Khazri, Defoe
Subs: Pickford, Jones, O'Shea, Larsson, Toivonen, Watmore, N'Doye
