Parma held at home by Bologna

Panagiotis Kone and Antonio Cassano are on target as Parma and Bologna draw 1-1.

Parma have been held to a 1-1 draw by Bologna in this evening's Serie A clash at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

The visitors took the lead with 10 minutes on the clock when Panagiotis Kone drilled home Rolando Bianchi's headed pass from outside the area.

Parma were level 13 minutes later as Nicola Sansone's free kick fell kindly for Antonio Cassano in the box, and the forward found the back of the net.

Bologna were reduced to 10 men early in the second period when Frederik Sorensen committed a second bookable offence, and the hosts went on to dominate the contest.

Visiting goalkeeper Gianluca Curci kept his side in the game, producing saves to deny Sansone, Marco Parolo, and Raffaele Palladino to keep the scoreline level come full time.
