Paris Saint-Germain boss Laurent Blanc hails record-breaking Zlatan Ibrahimovic

PSG boss Laurent Blanc ceases to be amazed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic anymore after the Swede became the club's all-time record goalscorer within three years of joining.

Laurent Blanc has claimed that he is not in the least bit surprised to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic become Paris Saint-Germain's record goalscorer of all time.

The Swedish striker struck two penalties in Sunday's 2-1 win over Marseille to move to 110 goals, clear of Pauleta's haul.

Ibrahimovic only joined the Ligue 1 champions in 2012, but Blanc is unsurprised to see the 33-year-old become Les Parisiens' most prolific marksman, such is his quality.

"This is a very good player, a great player," he told Canal Plus. "You just have to see the number of goals he scores. These are non-typical players, with non-typical statistics.

"It does not surprise me that he has managed to break this record in such a short time."

Ibrahimovic, who joined from AC Milan, has fired PSG to three successive Ligue 1 titles.
