Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly prioritised the signing of Idrissa Gueye from Everton after missing out on Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes.
The French champions are said to have ended their interest in Paredes as Zenit are after £40m for the Argentine, who is also a rumoured target for Chelsea.
L'Equipe suggests that PSG now consider Gueye a better option, and Thomas Tuchel's men have pressed ahead with an opening offer of £22m.
Super-agent Pini Zahavi is rumoured to be involved in discussions between the two clubs, but PSG still have a lot of work to do before reaching an agreement with the Toffees.
Everton were previously holding out for £40m, but a bid of £30m will now likely be enough for the Parisians to land their man.
The report also indicates that Gueye has his heart set on a move to the French capital and has already reached out to some of PSG's players.
