Queens Park Rangers have beaten Middlesbrough 2-0 in this afternoon's Championship clash at Loftus Road.

Joey Barton gave the home side the lead after four minutes when his strike found the net after taking a deflection of Frazer Richardson.

Charlie Austin doubled the their lead 10 minutes before the break from the penalty spot after Ben Gibson was penalised for a handball.
