Crystal Palace 'step up Jordon Mutch interest'

Crystal Palace are reportedly in negotiations with Queens Park Rangers over midfielder Jordon Mutch.

Crystal Palace have reportedly stepped up their interest in signing Queens Park Rangers midfielder Jordon Mutch.

The Eagles have had a verbal offer of £4m rejected but remain locked in negotiations over the player, according to Sky Sports News.

QPR are said to be keen to recoup the £5.5m they paid Cardiff City for Mutch back in August.

Palace are believed to have initially made a loan approach for Mutch, who is expected to welcome the move given his lack of playing time at Loftus Road this season.

The midfielder has made just six Premier League starts for Harry Redknapp's side this term.
