Queen's Park will meet Stenhousemuir in the final of the Scottish League One playoffs following a 1-0 win over Arbroath at Hampden Park.

Queen's Park will meet Stenhousemuir in the final of the Scottish League One playoffs following a 1-0 win over Arbroath at Hampden Park.

It was a fairly tentative opening from both sides - Dylan Carreiro saw a shot saved for Arbroath on 23 minutes, before Ricky Little headed over after the half-hour mark.

Gavin Mitchell went close for Queen's Park five minutes into the second period, while Bobby Linn saw a low shot saved for the visitors.

Paul Woods perhaps should have done better on 64 minutes when he headed over minutes after Craig Johnstone's left-footed effort flashed past the post for Arbroath.

Neither side could find the breakthrough inside the 90 minutes, but Tony Quinn eventually settled the tie with two minutes of extra time remaining.

Elsewhere, Stenhousemuir booked their place in the final with a 3-1 win over East Fife.
