Joint administrator David Whitehouse says that "significant" redundancies will be made if the players don't agree on a wage cut.

Rangers' joint administrator David Whitehouse has warned that "significant" redundancies will be made if the players cannot come to an agreement over wage cuts.

The Scottish outfit are in danger of losing a number of senior players due to their refusal to agree to a new wage structure with the administrators.

"We need to know that we've got an ongoing funding structure otherwise we will make what are quite significant redundancies in the playing staff," said Whitehouse.

While talks over a potential wage cut for the playing staff are expected to continue tomorrow, the club's administrators will attend court on March 30 regarding a dispute over the entitlement of £3.5m.
