Half-Time Report: Reading, Brighton & Hove Albion goalless at break

Reading and Championship leaders Brighton & Hove Albion go into half time without the deadlock being broken in their match at the Madejski Stadium.

Reading are currently holding Championship leaders Brighton & Hove Albion at half time of their game at the Madejski Stadium.

Chances were few and far between during the start of the contest before Oliver Norwood tested David Stockdale in the Brighton goal with a 25-yard free kick.

Up the other end, Sam Baldock wasted a half-chance for Brighton, before Reading's Garath McCleary failed to find the target with a left-footed strike.

Shortly before the half-hour mark, Matej Vydra delivered the ball into Nick Blackman, but the club's top goalscorer headed wide.

Blackman had another chance to score just before the break but despite working an opportunity for himself, he sent his shot into the stand.
