Reading's Jay Tabb says that his teammates are targeting a win over Arsenal to turn around their poor run of form.

Reading midfielder Jay Tabb has admitted that his teammates are desperate to give their fans the points that he says they deserve.

Reading have lost their last five games, but Tabb has said that he is targeting Monday night's game against Arsenal for the start of a turnaround.

"We've lost five on the bounce and we all feel for the fans," Tabb told Reading's official website. "As players, we hate losing - especially as we've worked so hard to get here.

"The fans pay good money to come and watch us so they're within their rights to get on our backs. But I think they've been great - they've stuck behind us and it's just a shame that we're not giving them the points that they deserve. We need to put that right for ourselves and our fans.

"Even though it's not going our way at the moment, the spirits are always high. The only way to get out of this is to stick together."

Reading dropped to the bottom of the Premier League after Queen's Park Rangers's win over Fulham.
