Real Madrid team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Napoli

Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Napoli.

Real Madrid can confirm a first-placed finish in Champions League Group C when Napoli pay a visit to the Bernabeu on Wednesday evening.

Carlo Ancelotti's side have already punched their ticket to the last 16 with four wins from four so far, most recently easing past Portuguese outfit Braga 3-0 to assure themselves of a top-two ranking.

Los Blancos overcame Cadiz by the same scoreline in their most recent La Liga fixture on Sunday, and Ancelotti's men only need a point on Wednesday to finish atop the pile.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Real Madrid's injury and suspension news ahead of their meeting with Napoli, who sit in the runners-up spot with seven points on the board.

Luka Modric

Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: December 2 (vs. Granada)

Luka Modric made a rare start in the beating of Cadiz on Sunday, but the 38-year-old had to be taken off 20 minutes before the end due to a hamstring issue, and he has been ruled out of Wednesday's game.
