Real Madrid and Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas has had a street named after him in his hometown of Mostoles.
The 30-year-old was invited to a special ceremony in which 'Iker Casillas Avenue' was unveiled in the Spanish town.
"I am very proud to return to the city where I grew up," said Casillas. "I want to thank the mayor for everything he has done and especially my coaches past and present.
"It's an added responsibility that my name will always be attached to Mostoles, as well as a joy, a pride and an honour. Sometimes dreams do come true."
Casillas guided his national team to World Cup glory in 2010.
