Real Valladolid are set to be without the services of wonderkid Juma Bah for Saturday's glamour clash with Real Madrid.
The La Liga strugglers released a statement earlier this week claiming that Bah was in breach of contract for failing to turn up for training, while they also accused Manchester City of "appearing to advise" the youngster to take the controversial steps in order to force a switch to the reigning Premier League champions.
As it stands, a proposed move to the Etihad Stadium is on hold, but due to the developments, it is almost certain that the 18-year-old will not be involved for Real Valladolid against Real Madrid.
Raul Moro is another player to be heavily linked with a move away from the club this month, with a number of Premier League clubs believed to be showing an interest in the forward, who has scored four goals and registered two assists in 20 appearances this term.
However, the Spaniard suffered a fractured collarbone in the team's last game against Espanyol, so a winter transfer for him is off, while the forward will also be unavailable for selection for a lengthy period.
Stanko Juric will be another notable absentee for the league's basement side, with the midfielder suspended due to the milestone yellow card that he was handed in the 2-1 defeat to Espanyol last time out.
Cenk Ozkacar is expected to be the player to benefit from Bah's absence, with the on-loan Valencia defender in line for a starting role, while Selim Amallah and Amath Ndiaye could replace Moro and Juric.
Real Valladolid possible starting lineup: Hein; Perez, Ozkacar, J Sanchez, Rosa; Perez, Ndiaye, Martin; Tuhami, Andre, Amallah
