Team News: Isco, Asier Illarremendi start for Real Madrid against Real Sociedad

Real Madrid make two changes for their home clash with Real Sociedad, as Cristiano Ronaldo starts his two-game ban.

Real Madrid have made two changes to their starting lineup for their home match with Real Sociedad this afternoon.

Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo starts the first of his two-match ban following his straight red card against Cordoba last weekend, while German midfielder Sami Khedira is dropped to the bench.

Spanish playmaker Isco starts in place of Ronaldo, while Khedira has been replaced by Asier Illarramendi.

Sociedad manager David Moyes has made one change to the side which beat Eibar last weekend, with central midfielder Gorka Elustondo set to start in place of striker Imanol Agirretxe.

Carlos Vela is set to lead the line for the visitors, moving forward from his usual left-wing berth.
